Christmas concert with Dolce Musica

Hard to believe that another year has gone by and once again, we are going to Dolce Musica's Christmas concert!

Once again, all three orchestras teamed up for the final piece. It is always so impressive to see more than 100 musicians on stage, playing all together and having so much fun.

It was the boys' last Christmas concert together for a while as Ben will most likely move up to Symphony orchestra next year.

Because Ben is concert master, he has to tune the orchestra at the beginning. Below is a picture of him in action!

Médaille d'or du Conservatoire Royal de Toronto

Benjamin a eu toute une surprise il y a quelques semaines lorsque son professeur lui a téléphoné pour lui annoncer qu'il avait remporté la médaille d'or du RCM pour son examen pratique niveau 8 en violon avec la plus haute note de la province.

Nous nous sommes donc rendus à Toronto le weekend dernier pour que Benjamin puisse recevoir sa médaille et participer au concert gala des médaillés d'or.

Nous avons passé un super weekend en compagnie de plusieurs talentueux musiciens. La cérémonie fût très touchante et inspirante. Je crois que Ben est encore plus motivé à terminer ses niveaux pratiques pour faire partie de la cérémonie des gradués.
