On Saturday February 25th, Benjamin was invited to participate to the WYO masterclass with Jutta Puchhammer-Sédillot. Mrs. Puchhammer-Sédillot is a violist who teaches at Université de Montréal and who has played with renowned musicians. For more information on this wonderful teacher, visit the link below.
Ben impressed once again with his musicality when he played The legend of Wieniawski. After he finished playing, Mrs. Puchhammer-Sédillot made everyone laugh when she said she really didn't have much to say. In the end they worked on a few technical aspects of the piece that were giving Ben a harder time. She was absolutely wonderful and her comments were very constructive.
Next step in line for Ben is to find a new violin. He will finally be playing with a full size violin so we are anxious to hear his new sound!
